ANDREW W.K.: Live Album Available For Free Download

ANDREW W.K. fan site AWKshare.com is currently offering a complete ANDREW W.K. "live album," entitled "On the 1st Day of School", as a free download. The recording, which was made last year in California on the campus of USC, consists of the following tracks:

03. It's Time to Party
04. Take It Off
05. Girls Own Love
06. She Is Beautiful
07. Ready to Die
08. I Get Wet
09. Party Hard

In other news, AWKworld.com will be hosting an online chat and listening party for the "On the 1st Day of School" live album on Thursday, June 23. The chat, which will be attended by Andrew himself (who will be using the screen name "DonaldTrump"),is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. EST.

As previously reported, ANDREW W.K. has recorded more than 20 songs for his upcoming third album, which is expected later in the year. An official live album is also in the works.

ANDREW released his sophomore CD, "The Wolf", in September 2003. "The Wolf" was W.K.'s second full-length for Island Records and was the follow-up to his 2001 major-label debut, "I Get Wet".
